Meet the Team
Hi! I’m Jess, just a Philly girl who loves music! Ska and punk shows are where I feel most alive and there is truly no scene I love more than the ska scene! My family feels so welcome here and we’ve made so many incredible friends – in the crowd, with the artists, and with the badass people helping to make it all happen.
The time has come for me to give back to the scene that has given so much to my family and I. So here, we are. I’m no expert by any means, just a fan wanting to help connect other fans with bands they may not have found on their own and vice versa. I hope you’ll find something here, whether it be a new favorite band or a live video that brings a smile to your face because you couldn’t be there in person.
Hello, my name is Ox and I represent the future of Ska Punk. I’ve been to so many shows, it would take a long time to tell you all of the bands I have seen and even been on stage with. I am so glad I am allowed to share my love on The Ox Box page for everybody that I listen to and have met at shows.
Yo, this is Christian! Music is a big part of my life. Is it all ska? No. My interests also consist of hardcore, classic metal, thrash, punk, and even some gangster rap. The ska I lean towards is heavy and fast. Mostly, I enjoy music that speaks to me because when things are going good, you hear the music, but when things aren’t, you understand the lyrics and their meanings and you relate to them. My goal here to discover new sounds together that can help myself and others get through hard times. Word.
